Ready to Fly - WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY 2016

WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY 2016 
The day was such a bright day..
and never thought this day would re-awaken my feelings for children in need of serious help and love...
Do you know the difference....?


there was no any difference...which i could figure out unless her face was lets just say , full of
chubby and smiling all the time...


we took the train from panadura and reached royal skills center happily thinking that we will have the chance to capture more beautiful faces with happy smiles ....
yet Half of it was successful ...

the kids were happy and so talented...

all what we needed was to smile with them ... and they did ...
knowing that most of us loved them from the bottom of heart...
while roaming the class rooms we noticed that several medical camps were arranged and young kind hearten rotaractors were helping the kids and  parents along with the doctors...

It is so good to see such a crowd of a young organization is involved in such a powerful worthy cause..
The kids had fun while visiting the fun stalls around ....and those faces were filled with smiles and happiness ... while we enjoyed capturing some of the natural smiles..

at places like main control center university rotaractors were packing the gift items , making arrangements for food [the maggie noodle cups ] , and tasty sustagen milk cups...

we enjoyed a cup and personally I didn't like the taste of it , but it also reminded me of that each kid has to go through  these high protein milk cups but , now a days they might have been used for the typical taste even though they do not like it ...

time to time they were given food items and the best of the best have been offered by the university based rotaract clubs along with the guidance , support  of many people ...

Registration committee at the start point took care that each kid was registered and given all the necessities.

beautiful painting were hanging around every where which depicted and proved the talent of these cute kids...

It was heard from many rotaractors that even they could not draw the art drawings as these kids have done ....

after the medical camp the plan was to have the evening fun time along with dance items and recreational items , which the kids also enjoyed a lot accompanied by the young hearties...

Life is beautiful , yet some days and some people will always be beautiful as their hearts are filled with love and affection ...

I do not how these kids will feel in their inner minds but today the dreams of them will be much more colorful... and brighter future paths will be created by the many movements yet to come ...

Rotarct District 3220 celebrated the talents of Differently able on 27th of March 2016 at Royal College Navarangahala. This annual celebration of the World Down Syndrome Day consisted of a health camp, a variety show and an art competition to showcase their talents. The day was indeed a memorable day and was truly enjoyed by all its participants.
